Worship
One of the great joys of being a Christian, and belonging to a Church, is worship. It is a time when we can come together to let God known, and for the world to see, how much we love Him.
Services
Sunday Worship Service: Commences at 9:00 am and is of a traditional/contemporary format.
Crèche facilities are available for babies from birth to three years.
Sunday School is held at the same time as the 9:00 am service.
Holy Communion: Is held twice a month at the following times -
1st and 3rd Sunday of the month at the 9:00 am service.
Special Services
Thanksgiving Service: This is held on the Sunday closest to the 18th June, which is the founding day of our Church. An organization is chosen and the members bring appropriate gifts as a thanksgiving to God, which are then given to that organization.
Family Service: This service is an all-age worship service where our church family, young and old, worship together. This is held at 9:00 am where there is a 5th Sunday in a month.
Easter Services
These services celebrate the Passion of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Tenebrae - The ‘Service of Lights’ is held on the Thursday evening before Good Friday at 7:00 pm. It concentrates on the last hours of the life of Jesus Christ. The service includes Holy Communion.
Good Friday - This service commences at 9:00 am, focusing on the passion and death of Jesus Christ.
Easter Sunday:
9:00 am - Family Service.
Christmas Services
These services celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Lessons and Carols are held at both services on the Sunday before Christmas Day.
Christmas Day Services:
9:00 am – Family Service.
Women's World Day of Prayer
This is an ecumenical service of worship praying with women around the world. This takes place at a designated church in Claremont on the first Friday in March at 10:00 am.
