    Blessed 07_Peacemakers Matt_5:9

Beatitudes (07): Blessed Are the PeacemakersIn this episode, we continue our series on the Beatitudes with Matthew 5:9 - "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God." Peacemaking isn't peace-faking (avoiding the truth) or peace-at-all-costs (avoiding the cost) - it's pursuing real shalom, the way Jesus did for us through the cross. We look at what it means to follow his example by facing truth and cost in our own relationships.

    Blessed 06_Pure in heart Matt_5:8

Beatitudes (06): Blessed Are the Pure in HeartIn this episode, we continue our series on the Beatitudes with Matthew 5:8 - "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God." From Eden to Revelation, God's plan was always for his people to see him face to face - but sin gets in the way. We explore what it means to have a pure, undivided heart: not outward appearances, but single-minded devotion to God, in a world that constantly pulls our hearts toward other loves.

    Blessed 04_Merciful Matt_5:7

Beatitudes (05): Blessed Are the MercifulIn this episode, we continue our series on the Beatitudes with Matthew 5:7 - "Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy." True mercy isn't just feeling sorry for someone - it's stepping into their pain and doing something about it, the way the Good Samaritan did. We look at how mercy flows from mercy: because we've received it from Christ, we become people who show it to others, and that mercy is proof we'll receive God's mercy in full when he returns.

    Blessed 04_Hunger and Thirst Matt_5:6

Beatitudes (04): Blessed Are Those Who Hunger and Thirst for RighteousnessIn this episode, we continue our series on the Beatitudes with Matthew 5:6 - "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled." We ask an honest question: what are you truly hungry for? The world's fountains promise satisfaction but never deliver. Jesus offers something different: "Whoever comes to me will never go hungry."
